Hello from CPC!
School is back next week, can you believe it’s almost February already?
The demolition next door is finally complete, and new construction has officially started… (Did someone say – I hope there’s a spot for a good cup of coffee?) and there’s been a few scorchers too (43 Degrees?!). But CPC isn’t melting (Thank you air-con!) and as we continue through to the last month of summer, we want you to know we’re here for you.
With everyone settling back into their work and school routines, increased stress and pressure is something to look out for.
Let’s take some deep mindful breaths together.
Ask yourself:
- Am I managing being back at work?
- Am I managing my home/work life balance?
- How are my relationships holding up?
Take some time to reflect on:
- Am I thriving or just surviving?
- Is now a good time to reach out for some extra support?
If your kids are heading back, questions for parents could be:
- How are the kids going?
- Do they seem excited or nervous?
- Will they need helpful adjustments?
Whatever the answers to those questions – it’s okay to ask for help (even if we think we’re okay).
Because to maintain our muster for life, to thrive, and asking for help doesn’t have to be when crisis hits.
Most importantly, remember to be kind to yourself and others.
- CPC Team
